1. Practice target vessel devascularization. Only band the high risk ones
2. All varices come from below, band low
3. Having 6-7 bands on the device does not mean you must use them all. The median number of bands should probably be 2

Despite the fact that they cost nothing & created capacity for operations, admissions and discharges

So here we are not enough beds, delayed operations, A&E blocked

Patients are already waiting weeks for care. The NHS is already on its knees.

My practice has one of these machines in the waiting room & the receptionist has a flow chart of what to do with the results
This would pay for itself in weeks, but GPs had to pay for it

@DrHWazir All the hospitals I have worked at have not benefited from the parking charges as they are privately owned car parks - this hospitals dont control them - think the government shoild give them back for the hospitals and only a small charge that goes straight to funding hospitals
