@nephondemand great question. Patient started becoming hypotensive gradually from next day after 3%was stopped. would be hard to explain natriuresis 2 days after 3% was stopped to an extent that patient becomes hypotensive to 70's.

50 y/o s/p surgery for brain abscess was put on 3% saline for 10 days for C.edema and on 11 day 3% was stopped and pt started on salt tabs . From next day pt hypotensive. Dont have i/o . Got a urine sodium which was 96/osm 475. Since 3% was stopped na 145–>136. - CSW? #Askrenal
