Subject:
Request for a grace mark 20,Fair, Transparent, and Student-Centric Remedy for Students Allegedly Affected by the CBSE 2026 Evaluation Process
Respected Authorities,
This memorandum is submitted with profound respect for the Constitution of India, the rule of law, and the independence of the judiciary.
Thousands of students invest years of dedication, hard work, and hope in public examinations. If there are credible concerns regarding systemic or technological deficiencies in the evaluation process, it is essential that such concerns receive an impartial, transparent, and timely examination. Students should not bear the consequences of errors that are beyond their control.
This appeal is founded on the principles of:
- Article 14 of the Constitution of India (Equality before Law).
- Article 21 (Protection of Life and Personal Liberty, including dignity and fairness).
- Article 21A (Right to Education).
- The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, emphasizing the best interests of the child.
- The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, recognizing equality and access to education.
We respectfully request consideration of the following measures:
1. An independent technical and academic review of the evaluation process, wherever credible concerns have been raised.
2. Greater transparency in assessment and review mechanisms, consistent with applicable law and policy.
3. Appropriate corrective measures, where legally justified, to ensure that no deserving student is unfairly disadvantaged.
4. Protection of students' mental well-being while any review or remedial process is underway.
5. Consideration of long-term reforms to strengthen transparency, accountability, and public confidence in national examination systems.
This memorandum does not seek confrontation with any constitutional institution. Rather, it seeks constructive solutions within the framework of the Constitution and the rule of law. Public trust is strengthened when institutions are seen to respond fairly, transparently, and compassionately to genuine concerns.
The future of students is a matter of national importance. Every deserving child should have confidence that merit will be assessed through a process that is fair, reliable, and accountable.
We respectfully request all constitutional authorities and relevant international organizations to encourage lawful, transparent, and child-centred approaches that uphold the rights and dignity of every student.
Respectfully submitted,
Dr. Biswa Bhusan Pradhan

CBSE Compartment Exam is on 28 July.
But thousands of students have just one question…
📌 When will the result be declared?
And more importantly…
• What about college admissions?
• What about admission deadlines?
• Will colleges keep seats vacant until the compartment results are announced?
• Will deserving students lose an entire academic year because of delayed results?
Students have already gone through enough stress.
CBSE, UGC, and universities should issue a clear timeline and coordinate the admission process so that no student’s future is affected simply because they appeared for the compartment examination.
A delay in the result should not become a delay in a student’s life.

CBSE won. We students lost. No grace marks. No revised passing criteria. Just a supplementary exam on 28 July that delays our results, admissions, and future. Students deserve support, not punishment for missing by a few marks.
Y'all should be ashamed! @cbseindia29@dpradhanbjp
