So you telling me that someone can lose the government in national elections, get convicted in court as a felon, and then comeback and win national elections to lead the government again?
@syahredzan Shameful that DAP MPs are now saying discriminating constituencies is valid. Power corrupts and you're a classic example of this. We must fund all constituencies regardless of political affliation.
@fmtoday@syahredzan amazing how DAP now chooses to discriminate constituencies that vote for the opposition. You're a classic example of how power corrupts. DAP should be championing equal access regardless of political affliation.
@natashagideon I really liked that video about your earnings because you were real. You talked about the 70k but you also talked about the other zero months.
We have reached a point where the prime minister of Malaysia @anwaribrahim now speaks for the majority of the world’s people and not a European or Western leader.
@ladymissazira The Bar Council is saying that it is ethical for trade bodies to fix prices and disrupt markets to protect legacy players. Imagine a Burger trade body saying burgers can only be sold at $50. Anybody that sells a burger at a lower price, gets whacked.
@ladymissazira My issue is not about the value, but about the Bar Council purposefully protecting fat cats. The fixed prices is designed to crowd out young lawyer who might want to drop prices to compete with their lower overheads. But this is not allowed to protect big firms.
@ladymissazira The bar council is saying a law firm that invests in tech and has one high paying conveyancing clerk assisted by tech is valued the same as an inefficient firm that pays low wages to keep many clerks. The rule is depressing wages
@ladymissazira Not really. The protection discourages automation and keeps the work inefficient. Because the industry rewards inefficient lawyers and discourages investments in tech this reduces the nett productivity. The bar council is essentially saying there cannot be service and price comp
We remember what @tonypua did to reveal the magnitude of the 1MDB scandal when he was an MP. The people of Malaysia are still paying billions of RM on the debts incurred as a result of this scandal. I hope the leaders of @pakatanharapan_ do not forget.
@thinalan@UMonline@MIC_Malaysia Also note that no professional worth his salt would join a race party. The KKK failed. One Nation failed. Nazi Party failed. Just look at the sorry state OF MIC and MCA.
@thinalan@UMonline@MIC_Malaysia It's interesting you say that I need political maturity, when MIC has grossly failed to get Indian parliamentarians through its race based policy. DAP & PKR has done more for Indian representation than MIC. It's because they have better talent. MIC lacks talent as a race party.
@thinalan@UMonline@MIC_Malaysia More than 50 years old yet still begging to be included in committees. Race politics doesn't work. It is this reason why MIC lacks political talent. No smart person will join MIC when they see the open begging like this.
@thinalan@UMonline No point asking @MIC_Malaysia bro. The party lacks any clout. It also lacks the political talents. Leaders are still practicing begger politics.
