The Indian Meteorological Center (@IMDWeather ), which is a public service and operates on public tax money, has blocked the automatic rain gauge data & Satellite page for public use. It also says that the public can use this data by paying money. This is completely wrong precedent. Moreover, the result of this can create a lot of problems during disasters. Therefore, all of you should immediately intervene and help put this rain gauge & satellite data into action for public use. I request all the public to retweet this to their respective leaders for their social media views.
