Another day, another new Chery brand, this time spinning out their QQ model into a line of its own.

This is the QQ Qurio Concept, and it looks pretty neat, despite looking like the sloth from Zootopia.

A competitor for funky cars like the smart #1 on the face of things.

Starting with 100% battery and an indicated 254 miles of range, the #R5 #ETech has just done a brilliant 4.4mi/kWh at 70mph cruise across 132.3 miles up the M1. Amb temps 12-17⁰C all the way, no climate, Comfort mode (not Eco). Ended with 37% battery and 85mi indicated. 👏

@yourcroydon May I ask @yourcroydon , what cycling groups or associations did you liaise with in making this decision? Did you make any effort to get input from cyclists who use this road, if so please can you publish the data on how many cyclists were consulted, otherwise it’s biased.

@The_PlugSeeker @Shell @Shell_Recharge There’s sone activity today at the @Shell_UKLtd station development in Old Coulsdon. There are now 2 Premier vans on site now. Also the previous triple headed rapid charger appears to have been now replaced by a slimmer dual rapid with just @CHAdeMO_eu and CCS plugs.

Here’s a few photos of mysterious developments e at the @Shell Station at Old Coulsdon in Surrey. As can see they had a single older @Shell_Recharge charger for a few years. The forecourt was excavated next to pumps and 4 foundations were done in open area which have square covers over now. Curiously the company doing work “Premier forecourts & construction” have sign saying they are making the forecourts of the future and the logo in corner says EV with a little plug? They have done Hubs for Shell / MFG / BP it seems. @ArteliaUK ? @SurreyEVs

Dare we hope for an purely EV Shell Hub ??! Would be 2nd one in U.K. if so.
