@Lauren_83_ At least there’s plenty of choice of men for the girls who like a good hike and a Sunday roast! Back in the day it used to be watch a film with a glass of wine!
Eating disorders are a living hell for sufferers and their families. Never feel afraid to question if someone is under or overeating. It might be the first step to getting them the necessary support
Eating disorders can be deeply isolating, but connecting with others can be life-changing. Whether your community is one person or many, every meaningful connection can bring hope, strength, and the reminder that #YouAreNotAlone#EatingDisordersAwarenessWeek#BeatCommunity
@sarajcox I once fell down a flight of stairs in a busy pub. As I stood up at the bottom it seemed like the whole pub realised I’d done this without spilling a drop of my drink, and gave me a round of applause!
@urbanponds101 My daughter lives in another city, and I don’t worry day to day, but when she went travelling alone I did. I did get her to ensure I could track location on her phone, and was happier for doing that
@Thehullboy1 Love this. My daughter has had similar struggles, and just lost her grandma, who literally asked ‘will you be alright if I die’ She is and will be. The very best grandparents make sure their grandchildren are! Yours sound like those
@sarajcox Checking on sleeping baby in her cot and she rolled over on top of a talking Zippy that said ‘You know I’m really very very clever’ she somehow stayed asleep while I really did laugh out loud
@sarajcox My 25 year old allowed me to track her when she went to Vietnam on her own for a month. It’s still on now she’s home, in another city from me, and all I seem to notice is she works a lot of overtime!
@LeeBraganza I once asked my mum to take younger one to GP with breathing problems, while I went see teenager’s head teacher about behaviour. Didn’t answer my phone during meeting. My mum was letting me know daughter had collapsed and GP had called ambulance. Oxygen and antibiotics sorted.
