When a safari tour suddenly turns into a deathtrap...
It is a chilling truth — even the most seasoned guides and wildlife experts will tell you that wild animals are fundamentally unpredictable, and a safari can turn dangerous in an instant regardless of how well human behaviour is managed.
While safari fatal incidents are statistically rare, they serve as a powerful reminder of nature's raw power.
When things go wrong, which they do sometimes, it is usually driven by specific wildlife stressors.
The sad thing about male suicide, is it’s always in the room with us.
It is, and will continue to be, the biggest risk to a young man’s life, every day, until he is about fifty.
There’s no getting away from how terrifying that fact is, and how it goes against the cultural narrative of men as being omnisciently powerful, and privileged people.
Thankfully, "male suicide" as an issue has entered the public conversation over the past four of five years; adorning campaigns, merchandise, billboards, and the running order of a million podcasts.
And yet –
When it comes to men ending their own lives, 2025 brought us the worst data this century.
So, for all the kind words, nothing seems to have changed, and in fact… it’s getting worse.
Is it time for a new strategy, that looks beyond men, and the sloganeering approach we often take?
Is it time we stopped seeing male suicide as primarily a mental health issue, and instead one of structural, economic, and environmental cause?
What do you think?

@DandaroOnline Econet is Zimbabwe's worst enemy. There is good history on how the Compnay started and all as we also low key like the founders. During Ecocash days is ripped people off worse still it created a lot money. Data is expensive , why don't we have MTN in Zim or Vodafone?
@EhisBukason You can't compare Nigeria to South Africa-
SA is light years ahead. It's the best African country by every metric.
They just don't talk too much...
Bitcoin is digital capital. AI is digital intelligence. I joined @StevenBartlett to discuss how they are reshaping money, business, markets, work, and the future.

At 961,022, BIP-110 has 38 signals (2.70%). Its 55% voluntary threshold is impossible. At 961,632, BIP-110 nodes reject non-signaling blocks. Unless major miners reverse, Bitcoin continues normally while BIP-110 stalls or forks into irrelevance. Its backers should stand down.
