@NRGtrade@wards_66@ValueStockGeek Then, if this isn’t their second home, they don’t have to pay the tax! The letter was sent in error, people should really just read the article.
@wards_66@ValueStockGeek Okay, first of all, if it’s not his second home, he doesn’t have to pay the tax, so who cares? Also, this guy has representation both in congress and the senate so I don’t know what you’re whining about. Just pay you taxes like everyone else, super simple
@pansareV@ValueStockGeek Buy a $1 million condo in the same neighborhood and have $4 million left over, why is everyone being so ridiculous about this.
@matty_ice_BTC@ValueStockGeek That’s what everyone else has to do when they can’t afford their property taxes, most of whom aren’t sitting on a $5 million dollar asset.
@AdamSchiavone@kleib323@erik_engquist@SoBendito bet he could sell it pretty quick, move into a $1 Million home and now have $4 million left over. Problem solved. If you can’t afford the taxes that’s tough shit but when anyone is unable to pay taxes on an asset they own the correct response is “sell the assets you can’t afford”
@cheekyrando@SoBendito@erik_engquist Dude, if I have $5 million stashed in a mattress or an index fund but live off $30k a year, am I rich or middle class?
