Today, we're officially launch @SeenHealth, a labor of love and a lifelong dream of building something meaningful with my twin @yangsu_13.

Everything we aspire to do always comes back to "care, like family". It's such a joy to celebrate traditions with our community and team, and transform our space with beautiful art pieces created by our members.
Life is always better with some mooncakes and shared memories.
Some traditions are meant to be shared. 🥮🏮
On Friday, Sep. 25, more than 200 members of our community gathered at our San Gabriel Valley center to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
they’re not jobs if they’re not valued. they’re not valued if there aren’t customers out there willing to pay them for their great work. needing the government to “create” a job is tantamount to welfare and that level of welfare resolves these individuals to a dependency on the government and lack of economic mobility. and chains our people, collectively, to a more indentured future.
you may be well intentioned but you have, and always will, fail to see the destitute folly of government as a job creation engine.
i have tried to engage you on this topic, in good faith, with empiricism and reasoning, but you have only dodged my points and pivoted to some populist refrain about the importance of taxation and the evils of productivity-driven success.
i can only assume you’re dodging these truths because you and the rest of the politburo leadership have deemed the conversation unsafe speech and put your oligopoly at risk.
let’s leave it at that then.
perhaps if your ways get their day, we can all bask in the glories of the dark ages ahead.
I can’t remember a moment where a world-class center like @SeenHealth has the potential to make a cross-generational and cross-disciplinary impact—something the local community has never experienced before.
Congrats to the team for their exceptional, unprecedented hospitality, and @sxing13 and @yangsu_13 on the grand opening and an incredible bilingual speech!

Over the weekend, we celebrated the grand opening of Seen Health's inaugural center in Alhambra serving the vibrant community of San Gabriel Valley—a milestone 3 years in the making.
🎉 A Historic Moment for Seen Health & Senior Care! 🚀
We officially opened our first PACE center on Saturday, bringing exceptional, culturally-focused care to San Gabriel Valley & setting a new standard for aging at home.
Since January, we’ve welcomed seniors into Seen Health care, providing medical services, rehab, social programs, nutritious meals & door-to-door transportation—all designed to help them thrive.
💬 Our participant Rongmei (Emma) Wang shared:
"As seniors, we may feel vulnerable, but at Seen Health, we are seen and supported. Their care honors our traditions—every gesture and detail reflects the respect and kindness we cherish."
Honored to celebrate with:
✨ @RepJudyChu, @AsmMikeFong , the office of State Senator @SashaReneePerez, Alhambra Mayor Katherine Lee, Councilwoman Noya Wang, Monterey Park Mayor Vinh Ngo, @CouncilmanDing, Alhambra Chamber of Commerce, & Astrana Health’s Executive Chairman Dr. Kenneth Sim & Vice Chairman Dr. Thomas Lam.
💡 "We have 12M older adults in the U.S. struggling to find care. Seen Health’s PACE center is stepping up to this challenge." – @RepJudyChu

It’s an immense privilege to lead @SeenHealth’s Series A. They have persevered through countless challenges to set new standards for senior care with their upcoming center and technology platform. Congratulations @yangsu_13, @sxing13, and team!
After 2.5 years we are excited to finally talk about Seen Health! One of our @virtue_vc earliest investments!
Seen Health is building a tech-enabled, culturally-focused PACE program to serve high-needs seniors in Asian communities who have historically been underserved due to language and cultural barriers as well as a lack of geographic coverage. A few reasons why we are excited for Seen and the PACE opportunity:
1. Seen Co-founders Xing & Yang Su. Brothers Xing and Yang Su are hands down one of the most impressive teams I’ve ever had the privilege of working for. While both are impressive - insanely sharp and are incredibly fast learners (says a lot for PACE) they blend their commercial savvy and technical pedigree with a deep empathy for the seniors and communities they serve. Few teams have put in the hours that these two do — they simply do not stop!
2. The PACE Market Opportunity. PACE represents a unique global capitation model designed to serve older, sicker individuals (think low income Medicare poly-chronics) however for a variety of reasons PACE is a largely untapped care model. For instance, when we originally invested in ’22 we saw that the existing PACE market only served ~64K active members (~$4B market size) vs an addressable market of ~2.3M potential members (~$150B market size). PACE also does not represent a ‘winner take all’ market — we expect new entrants in the coming years though admittedly expect Seen to be the leader.
3.PACE — The Ultimate VBC Test Bed. The nature of global capitation means that Seen can run a true ‘test bed’ whereby they have totally reimagined the PACE experience, both for its patience and care team members. Seen has developed its own extensible PACE specific EHR as well as CareOps platform to streamline workflows and data exchange for relevant IDT team members (think IDT assessments, care plans, regular and unique service requests). By incorporating relevant real-time data, automation and intelligence into its clinical model Seen is able to prioritize actionable care by frequency and impact in order to augment clinical team member output, improve patient outcomes and enhance care margins. And, just wait until you see their initial Los Angeles clinic — the attention to detail is unrivaled — this place will win awards for its beautiful aesthetic!

We hold the bar at serving our own family members at our 20,000 sq facility in the heart of San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles, so that they can feel home away from home. Coming 2025!

There's a Chinese saying that is "落叶归根", or "the falling leaf returns to its roots". We believe this to be a perfect encapsulation of the aging experience, with seniors seeking comfort in their communities and heritage as they age, yet every senior/leaf is different

@dvasishtha Yes, barrier to entry is high, and the operational/ compliance complexities are not for the faint of heart. But there's also a lot of room for improving care management, participant acquisition, tech, and overall care experience to make it more accessible. Check out @SeenHealth😉
It's been a shared dream of 12+ years to build a venture with my twin brother @ys65 . We feel extremely fortunate to dedicate this next chapter to caring for the aging members of our family and communities. So much more to come. 🚀
Celebrating Lunar New Year is always a family affair. Our most cherished childhood memories are lighting the ceremonial fire (旺火) in Grandpa’s courtyard, setting off endless fireworks in the rural night sky, and eating too many dumplings with our entire family.
First and limited Cron stickers 🔥🔥🔥 They are precision-cut 2x2" (5x5cm) and look like something from 1950 or 2050, but not from today.
Retweet, and we'll randomly select 3️⃣1️⃣ lucky winners by Friday to mail one to them for free anywhere in the world!
At long last, today we’re launching Opal.
We've been building this product for the last year with a stellar team and group of investors.
Excited to share the beginning of our story and to get @opalelectronics's to our first users today. Much more to come!
