@natanelsht@supersat@IceSolst This is really cool and new info for me that socks5 could do this now - but yeah - verify with tcpdump or whatever to make sure your network traffic isn't leaking. I've heard firefox can utilize proxy for both
That is the view from the remote webserver that's on the other side of the ssh proxy. From its point of view it looks like all of your traffic is originating at the proxy (good) - but if your ISP (or Gov) is spying on your outbound traffic, they will see 2 streams, your encrypted ssh will be hidden, but the DNS lookup to the remote website will be visible.
you ---(leaks dns) ---> ssh-proxy ---> website
@adeoressi@joereal99 Its always bothered me that everything is sterilized before it goes to other planets. I think we should be sending molds fungi, cockroaches, beetles ants grass moss whatever. Keep a log of a DNA before it goes, but seed the worlds.

Its pretty clever how they implemented the way theyre called as powershell tokenizes the command line differently than posix shells do. After you install in powershell 7, have a look at your $PROFILE to see how they override PSConsoleHostReadLine
@PeakSeattle@choeshow Funny thing was, Katie was substantially behind on election night. They had to keep counting for several additional days to put her in the lead.
