@chamath And as new models come out the landscape completely changes- so the real reason is nothing has settled down enough for most orgs to adopt and so they pick one and lock in for a year
@bryan_johnson last year started doing 30 every morning. this year upped my game doing 50 every morning. I used to have to take emgality to avoid a full day of migraine - since august of last year no more migraines.

Warren Buffett: "The bottom 2% in terms of income in the United States, the bottom 5%, and for sure the top 1% all live better than John D. Rockefeller was living when I was six years old."
"John D. Rockefeller was the richest man in the world and, today, you can get better medicine, better education, better entertainment, better transportation. You can do everything better than he could."
"When I was born, the dentist didn't use novocaine!"
The difference is that under capitalism, some poor bastard would get tired of rowing, invent the steam engine, revolutionize the world, and wind up hated for being rich, so then they'd build theatres and libraries and name them for themselves.
Under communism, you just inform on your neighbor, who is assigned to row, and you are rewarded with a table on deck.
Under fascism, everybody pretends to row and the boat doesn't go anywhere.
@enjojoyy I did a 48 hour run first to increase test coverage and then another 24 hour run to optimize - bumped a million line repo from 50% coverage to 80% and cut test runtime by 30%
@anandabhinav217@antirez Yeah I was using m2.7 with dual rtx 6000 was pretty good we have had it offline for a few weeks upgrading to quad and will try with deepseek… fun will see if we get better results
@antirez Hard to follow but sounds like a bug was introduced by a maintainer using Claude… and someone threw a hissy fit about it… entertainment follows IMO - hopefully he has a good laugh and can still push a fix
When Chrome assures you "your tabs will reopen" after you install the latest update, does anyone else say a silent prayer that they actually will? Thank God they never break this. All it would take is one failure of that type, and no one would trust them again.
Thank you for being here today. Your support means a lot to the whole team. We will get back to flight, and we will get to the Moon. Gradatim Ferociter.
