Tafahum

“…like Frank Zappa and Stan Kenton meeting Schoenberg’s Chamber Symphonies, ingeniously blended with a large dose of Levantine tradition.” (Song Lines, 2016)

Lots of prep happening in the background here at tafahum. Here’s a little info pack for you all whilst we crack on getting our next projects going: https://t.co/O4uw5HW2ol

So David Cameron is to sit in the House of Lords ("taking back control from unelected officials anyone?") in order to be Foreign Secretary - which means he won't be able to be questioned by MPs in the chamber over foreign policy. Doesn't seem very 21st century.

Never thought when I started playing the tuba at Smithills secondary school in Bolton that one day a legendary trombone player would be holding up a new album of my music which he’s playing in alongside two other Tbn wonders & a fab UK orchestra. @cjbassbone @Opera_North

[Christian Jones trombone @cjbassbone]

New trombone album launches today! 😁🎶

[Tafahum @Tafahum]

We may be biased, but if you’re on ⁦⁦@TfL⁩ tube then we think this little offering from our first album will create a suitable vibe for the evening. (Actually inspired by Highbury and Islington vic line) Enjoy…on the tube home, or…anywhere. ❤️ https://t.co/9l5dfUBmIX

Tragic news

The latest @CornwallInsight prediction, based on Ofgem's new methodology, is an 81% price cap rise in Oct (taking typical bill to £3,582/yr) and a further 19% in Jan (so £4,266/yr)

Action & planning is needed now. The zombie govt needs wake up sooner than 5 Sept...
