@amnesty insists that to be meaningful these Terms of Reference must link the #UNTaxConvention to other global commitments at the UN, including #HumanRights #Equality #EnvironmentalProtection #SDG

It is a critical time. Key provisions for the #UNTaxConvention Terms of Reference are under attack. States must not neglect their human rights obligations when reforming global tax. ToRs must be ambitious and retain #humanrights.

🚨 Instead of the fast and forever phase out of fossil fuel that science shows is vital, #COP28 is preparing a final text promoting the fossil fuel fairy tale that unproven technical solutions will somehow provide the answer to global warming.
