@Blackmagic_News Hey Blackmagic. Here is a quick suggestion for Fusion. Can you make the Saver node function as a “Saver/Loader” node? It has an output that does noting… but if it could actually play back the .EXR files it just saved off disk like a loader, that would be killer!

But those UV examples are kind of terrible.
A checker board pattern on is to check for distortion, and uneven distributions of texture space.
Look at the torso’s arms. 1 arm has double the res of the other.
Dope for BG elements.
Working on some 100% procedural hatching and manga shaders in Blender. No textures used! Hope to do a tutorial on them next week.

@HolgerBiebrach Ha! Awesome. I had worked on a similar concept a few years ago and even called it the same thing.
My development centred around using the joint tool to draw out the forms. It’s a really nice workflow, but I still need to work out some kinks.

There’s something cool about a tactile product (likely why vinyl keeps have resurgences)
@joe_ihdt@maxon3d Look at Blender getting in some of those 3DCoat tools. Dope.
You can do this manually in C4D using splines as snapping guides.
Projection sketch the spline on the geo, then use spline snapping for the sculpted brush stroke.
@ABAOProductions I think MBL is an excellent tool to get your work done quickly. Nice easy to use workflow.
I tend to do all my colour work in Resolve as it’s got so much power. But it’s a more involved workflow with a steeper learning curve.
I can see myself using MBL for daily renders.
