@virginmedia You made a complete hash of closing my account and now I can't even use the complaints portal because the account is not closed, not great customer service.
@HarryLang100@greg_ashman No worries! I think half my students do most the time, there is a funny wikipedia page https://t.co/rEolxV3DSs so many common phrases mean different things in economics (often the opposite!)
@HarryLang100@greg_ashman No, that is a shift in demand caused by a change in a non price determinant of demand https://t.co/ILcmAy81QI

@MrOK_Maths_Econ The other strategy is to consider how other factors may lead to different judgements eg stakeholders, long run vs short run or the current economy - this is a bit easier to remember to do and requires less thinking on the fly.
@MrOK_Maths_Econ @JonesLearnUK@econplusdal@tutor2uEcon@ManishaSahdev@yousufhamid@mccomb_mr@SMGEcon Eg has there been any assumptions made in the question, or is there a term that could have multiple meanings needs considering. Terms such as undesirable/preferable/essential/improve can mean different things how could their answer differ with a different interpretation.

@MrOK_Maths_Econ @JonesLearnUK@econplusdal@tutor2uEcon@ManishaSahdev@yousufhamid@mccomb_mr@SMGEcon A couple of strategies I suggest to students - rank the importance of the points made in your essay in coming to a final judgement. More confident students I encourage to evaluate the question rather than just the economics.

My school has a resignation deadline for 31st August of 31st March not the 31st May as outlined by the old burgundy book, has anyone heard of a similarly early deadline for summer resignations - how can you be expected to resign before many summer positions are even advertised?
@RichardJMurphy Failure to raise interest rates whilst the Fed raises rates would cause further currency depreciation exacerbating inflation, you canโt say inflation is guaranteed to fall if the pound tanks.
