I ran some of my writing through an AI checker. 29.7% robot-generated! Thing is, it obviously wasn't. Ethical and creative reasons aside, the book in question is nearly a decade old - well before technology could do this. 1/3
A pet cow has learned to scratch herself with a broom, showing creative problem-solving skills that make it harder to ignore the fact that these animals have minds, says Marta Halina https://t.co/9Z0gKi5Bcr
A resident doctor’s father was seriously unwell.
The doctor hadn’t slept. Exhausted, emotionally drained, grieving in real time.
They asked to be taken off their night shift. The NHS rota coordinator told them to come in anyway.
This is what doctors are up against.
Not just being underpaid and working long hours in understaffed wards; but in a system that shows no compassion, even in moments of personal crisis.
We’re treated as if we’re disposable. Expected to keep going, no matter the cost to our health, our families, or our wellbeing.
We’re striking because this isn’t normal.
It isn’t safe. And it certainly isn’t fair.
If we want to keep doctors in the NHS, we have to start treating them like human beings.
A piece I was approached to to write. No more highliting it here 'Refused service yet again with my guide dog - I'm done speaking out' https://t.co/J55Ioswlcw
The NHS will pay the King’s duchy £11m over 15 years to rent a warehouse for ambulances...it is being charged 67% more than the previous tenants paid.

NHS work done by Private Sector
On the face of it a ‘good idea’ but wait….
£ spent is not then invested in the NHS, the private sector do this at a profit (increasing capacity) NHS long term capacity is lost, making NHS a more reliant on Private Sector
It's #OrganDonationWeek, the perfect time to reflect, celebrate, and make a life-saving difference. 💕
It takes just two minutes to register your organ donation decision, and your choice could save up to nine lives. It’s the best thing you’ll do today! https://t.co/Ubd1SeNDUr
The NHS is the country’s worst employer - the only way to stem the flow of staff is to treat them better. I hope this happens while there are enough staff left to keep the place functioning.

This is disastrous, hideous news. NHS England are hacking back the mental health support for hospital staff. One doctor takes their life every three weeks. One nurse takes their life every single week. These numbers will now INCREASE. @VictoriaAtkins - please do the right thing.
Our beautiful Poltimore House. Set on fire by a couple of youths on Monday evening. So much history lost but with your help the site can begin to restore and return to being a centrepiece for the community.

Four years ago today, I walked into the apocalypse.
Crossing the line in the ER felt like entering a whole other world.
Frenetic alarms.
Patients strewn about, struggling to breathe.
Too few staff. Too many deaths.
Covid was everything.
It had completely taken over our ER
"Raw sewage spills into England rivers and seas doubles in 2023."
Sitting comfortabl. Over last 5 years water industry has spent 13,618,860 hours dumping sewage into our rivers and the regulators @Ofwat and @EnvAgency has allowed them to do it. 🤬🤬🤬
