Hey Dawg, @Dschrempf think you know any company that could sponsor the Sonics wheelchair basketball team so they can compete in the West Coast Championship? A young friend who's a cancer survivor plays on the Sonics Prep team. Great organization! https://t.co/T49JLCAV0z
@EliTitherington@MSchlueterMoore @sweetteaconnect Thank you Eli! Yes, often caregivers is not a term that remembers to include those who are caregivers for their children.

~400 kids per year, usually at around 6 years old, are diagnosed with #DIPG/#DMG. Only half will live past 1 year, almost none to 3 years. Just in the US that means we lose >25,000 years of potential life each year to this disease. Read that again. #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth
If you say I have special needs, I’ll assume you’re referring to my need for fresh-picked figs. I’m a Californian & this is non-negotiable. But if you’re not referring to figs, then just say the word: #disabled. Euphemisms only fuel ableism. #Disability is not a dirty word.
Have you heard about this research study where students with intellectual disabilities and autism benefited from literacy instruction in general education settings?

@KFILE Their own Spotify (kids version) channel with Bluetooth speaker for hospital and they can pick their favorite song lists to play. My daughter still loves the song list she picked while inpatient and during treatment. We continue to add songs to her list today!
@AbbyRosenbergMD @sweetteaconnect Grateful to have been able to receive help from Prism while in cancer treatment for my 5 year old daughter at @seattlechildren. Even more grateful for the skills I learned through PRISM that I continue to use daily as we navigate side effects and caregiving post treatment.
What are the three main stages, or phases, of cancer clinical trials? Our short video explains: https://t.co/HNkanpBrP7 #clinicaltrials@NCICancerTrials
@CancerSurvSM I found this recently and it seems like a great thing to for healthcare providers to be consistent on to help implement to try and standardize the psychosocial needs which arise for both patients and caregivers/families.
