We are thrilled to announce that the Prosigna® Breast Risk of Recurrence (ROR) test, a genomic test for patients diagnosed with early-stage hormone-receptor positive (HR+) breast cancer, is officially available to order in the U.S.!
Thank you to @Nasdaq for featuring us on their Times Square tower in honor of this important milestone in breast cancer care.
| Impact |
In the U.S., more than 225,000 new HR+/HER2- breast cancer cases are diagnosed each year. It is critically important to accurately determine a patient's risk of recurrence because the effects of treatment escalation or de-escalation can have a lasting impact on a patient's life.
On the heels of the landmark #OPTIMA trial readout at #ASCO26, the #ProsignaTest now offers clinicians and the patients not only a deeper understanding of individual risk of recurrence (ROR) for their hormone receptor positive (HR+) breast cancer, but for many, if chemotherapy can benefit them or if they may safely avoid it.
Developed from the #PAM50 genomic classifier, the Prosigna test is the only test that combines intrinsic subtypes and proliferation score with clinical pathological factors to provide a comprehensive 10-year probability of distant recurrence.
Additionally, the Prosigna Breast ROR test is the only test proven to be predictive for chemotherapy benefit for premenopausal and post-menopausal patients with high-clinical risk HR+ breast cancer with up to 9 positive lymph nodes.
| Access and Availability |
The Prosigna test is available to order through Veracyte's network nationwide via the Veracyte Ordering Portal. The test is currently covered by many commercial payers, and patients may qualify for financial assistance or a tailored payment plan supported by the Veracyte Access Program for eligible uninsured and underinsured patients.

Congratulations to @UCL and the #OPTIMA investigator team on this incredible research featured on BBC Breakfast. 👏
Stories like Aileen Pritchard’s highlight the power of #PrecisionOncology in helping identify patients who can safely avoid unnecessary chemotherapy while still receiving the care that’s right for them.
We’re proud that Veracyte was part of this important work.
The Prosigna® Breast Risk of Recurrence (ROR) Test is now also available for ordering in the U.S., helping support more personalized treatment decisions for patients with early-stage #BreastCancer.

#GU26 Dr Moningi examined Decipher in de novo mPCa:
🧬 Largest real-world linkage of transcriptomic + clinical data (n=135K)
🔎 509 de novo metastatic vs 10,689 matched localized
🔺 Higher Decipher scores (0.94 vs 0.75)
🔺 ↑ Luminal B (65%) & PTEN inactivity (25%)
🔺 More NCCN high/very high risk
Biology matches the phenotype — genomically aggressive from the start.
