Guy in front of me on the plane yesterday, probably 6'5", 280, meathead, covered in tats. Four-hour flight. Scrolling through the seatback TV, he finally picks Sandlot. Watches the entire thing, doesn't smile or look away once.
The credits roll, The End.
Bro presses "Play Again." Watches Sandlot again. The Jet steals home (for the second time) right as the seatbelt sign goes off at the arrival gate. No phone, no e-mail, no music. Just back-to-back Sandlots from ATL to Boise.
Unbelievable energy.
Hats got waaaayyy more popular. Nobody talks about it, but there didn’t used to be this many hats. Now everybody’s got one and we all pretend it’s always been like this.
This morning I manifest a backyard saltwater pool into my life. Not today but someday. I’ll grill back there with my homies and do trick shots on the pool hoop.
A guy at the pro shop today said that his “swamp ass is so bad he was hydroplaning on the toilet seat”. Never heard that one before. May be adding it to the bag.
I don't think people realize how revolutionary home robotics will be for modern life.
My wife and I talk about this constantly. We want to go on a walk with our daughter after work but one of us needs to cook dinner so we rotate.
We put the baby down for the evening but have a house to clean so one of us showers while the other cleans the house and the kitchen.
Someday this work will be done by a robot - the hours that we have lost over the years will come back to us because of companies like @weaverobotics
