@fatchud41 If you use apps to track fitness etc, you're likely to use kg because the app does. If you don't think about it much, more likely to use stone, nice simple numbers.

@allisonargented Set dressing takes time, time costs money. Cheaper not to bother with it! Everything is as tight on margins as possible and then some. Yeah the product isn't as good, wait, why aren't people interested anymore? Must be social media!

@honigmaydl If by "Wilderness" you mean "Land that has not been managed by our ancestors for at least 1000 years", then, true. There's very little land untouched by humans because we've been here a long time. There's plenty of forest trails and wildlife areas, but they're not untouched.

@audrawrongspeak I can never tell if Americans say "Roommate" meaning sharing an apartment, or literally sharing a bedroom! A British "Housemate/Flatmate" is someone with their own private room but sharing the apartment. Adults not having privacy is weird for my culture.

@sharronlb102 Keep count this year... as an average over the past 30 years? yeah, 6 days seems about right. But over the past 3, 4 years? More like 6 weeks of unbearable heat, and quite a lot more of uncomfortably warm. Climate is changing.

@pachipetals Built for profit, obviously, lots and lots of money! I totally accept the argument that retrofitting AC into older properties is impractical - but new builds should be designed to be cooled as well as heated! It's insane they're not!

@be_like_ice Is absolutely an ADHD thing - but you can also work on it. Get a code term from him when he needs to disappear so he can warn you - you gotta respect that space tho. like he says "Gotta run to the hills, back later", you go "OK, I'll be here" - sucks less to know what's going on.

@ProUniversalUK They need to have a service up and running for the first public events at the site. Perhaps not the full frequency planned, but they absolutely need to have rail access before the park opens. It's not an after-thought, it's a primary form of access.
