One year ago today, I left my corporate career to pursue Rock Wall Bibles full-time.

I spent 10 years as an engineer. The main thing that made the decision difficult is that I liked my career.

But I also felt a desire to build something and Rock Wall Bibles was a good opportunity that I had previously been doing on the side.

The first day orders re-opened, around 100 custom orders came in and they’ve been steady ever since. I’m thankful to every customer!

Just starting was definitely the hardest part. There were so many new problems to solve at the beginning like building a new website and what to do when a shipment of leather is delayed. But as time goes on those things get easier.

My wife, Alex, and I have 4 girls (all 5 years old and under right now), and one day I hope to involve them in the business.

I have some big goals for the next year. I’m hoping the business will look quite different a year from now and I hope to bring you guys along for the ups and downs.

But for now, I’m just trying to do the next right thing.

Around 1000 Bibles in, many more to go, Lord willing.

If you’re in ministry, I highly recommend you make the investment into a Bible rebind that will last you a lifetime. Your Bible is more valuable than your phone, car, etc. Make sure it’s a translation you love, the paper quality will meet your ministry needs, and the font size will work for you for the years to come.

Now that I’ve started The Forge Men’s Biblical Counseling Center and I also pastor a small church, I’ll be saving up for a @RockWallBibles because simply put HE’S THE BEST
