@TM41142@Enragd_Potato Thats Metroid, I played Prime Remastered last year and I used youtube videos to finish the game because I had no clue where to go and backtracking sucks if you have to defeat the same npc’s all over again.
@Artemonim@IntCyberDigest This is exactly what I say. Anthropic did not asked for permission nor paid for the data they used for their models. China at least pays for the Claude API so in that perspective China is more ethical than Anthropic or OpenAI.
@SteveSTechMan@TheAhmadOsman But macOS is open which runs on macs? Don’t get the connection with iOS here which runs on phones and tablets. Not the devices where you would run LLM’s in normal circumstances (although its possible).
@Jumpmanryan I don’t have problems with 30fps as long as the frametime is decent. And specially for single player games which leans towards cinematic storytelling I think 30fps can have additional value. The most important thing is that’s smooth so no drops and microstutter.
If you like the genre yes maybe. But personally I don’t like the genre where you have to revisit the same locations multiple times. I played this game for the first time last year because everyone said it was one of the best games ever made. I like the exploration and scanning the environment so the world and lore gets unfold. But the backtracking really sucks.
@TheGlobal_Index @augmenmatri In Türkiye it’s more or less double the price compared to Europe. You buy 1 phone for yourself and 1 phone for the government.
@SynthPotato First world problems. It’s just a game, no revenue or lives are lost. After a couple of months the game will be released, they will break records and nobody will talk about this leak. I do not understand where this whining comes from.
@burkov@ehzish What if Trump is on drugs again and decides spontaneously to make Claude and OpenAI US only? We saw this happen with Fable, the precedent is already there. Local is yours, nobody can stop you.
Result of hiring and expanding during the corona period where gaming was booming without a proper vision for the future. You see this often in Sillicon Valley: during the pandemic companies expanded so quickly and when things settled back to normal it turned out the growth and pace was too large and too fast. And in the end the upper management will always have their bonuses at their top priority list so they will make decisions for their own pockets, not whats best for the employees and customers. Shareholders are the most important in this capitalism world.
