you are alone.
whatever consequences you suffer from due to your weakness is yours to bare alone. there's no friend, there's no saviour, there's no Simon of Cyrene, there's no man born of a woman that will carry your cross to Golgotha.
you are alone, utterly alone.
Nothing wrong with marrying a white woman but marrying a 49 year old white woman with two white children, as the childless Nigerian son of a billionaire is insane. Nigerian c00ning levels are astronomical at this point I fear.
You don’t solve poverty by teaching everyone to become millionaires. You solve poverty by building an economy where ordinary work can produce a decent life.
and i can guarantee you that contrary to what nigerians believe, students from schools like this will be far more intelligent & academically gifted on average than the students from schools where teachers walk around with canes & 2x4 to hit children with 🤣
Two African women, same struggles.
While one uses her position to shield her people at home and abroad from the system’s harsh reality, the other spends all her time explaining why she thinks her skin color was a mistake.
This is the side of AI that worries me.
HSBC workers. Behind every job replaced is a person.
Someone with a mortgage.
Someone with kids.
Someone trying to build a decent life.
Technology will change the world.
I just hope we don’t forget the people caught in the middle.
When you have a population of 1.5b people who have competed their whole lives - for entry into the best colleges and into the best Universities. The people you meet at Top MBA programs are people who have competed against 10s of millions and come out top.
I hate this genre of Nigerians so much.
Low self esteemed,Grass is always greener on the other side, I hate myself so I must project it on others type of idiots
Eeeww.
One thing boomers absolutely got right was the hiring process. When someone showed up eager and willing to work, they just hired them on the spot with a firm handshake instead of making them go through 8 rounds of interviews
Among the Nigerians you see in this video, there’s a very high chance you’ll find someone with a PhD, a scientist or researcher, a medical doctor, a successful businessman, a real estate mogul, an engineer, someone earning six figures, a practicing attorney, someone thriving in their career, someone with a beautiful family depending on them, and someone with an amazing wife and kids waiting for them to return home safely.
You don’t throw all of that away over a confrontation with someone who probably has never traveled outside his country, doesn’t know what it means to build a family, and may have far less to lose.
Even if you confronted me like this in my own country, Nigeria, I’d walk away. I have too much to lose. I’ll soon have a PhD I spent half a decade pursuing. I have a wonderful and amazing wife and an adorable child. I have parents and siblings who can’t go a week without hearing my voice.
I’ve spent my entire life building the foundation for the next 40 years, and I won’t let all of that slip away because of some random dude.
Walking away is not a sign of weakness. There are a thousand and one things that could go wrong in a situation like that if it isn’t handled properly. They chose restraint, and they handled it well.
