I watched #OrsonWelles’ #TheTrial (1962) @MoMAFilm. Bizarre film (perhaps like Kafka’s book). The narrative is tough to follow, but I was blown away by the b&w imagery - the noir shades of darkness and the complex, dream-like set designs. Much more innovative than #CitizenKane.
“I reached the full meaning of my life after meeting His Holiness the Dalai Lama” says @jltib88 Dr. Gyal Lo la.

A group of Tibetans including @tamogondup president of @TYCentrex protested peacefully in front of the NDTV office in New Delhi.
This protest followed the initial one led & organised by a group of concerned Tibetans at this very same NDTV office in New Delhi on Sunday.

Reposting Text from Tenzin Tsewang La’s post on his IG handle. He was involved in both these protest.
Sonia singh, a very well-known senior journalist of NDTV, she was present at the meeting and she expressed the following points:
She is very much concerned with the hurt sentiments of millions of His Holiness' followers and would like to apologize on behalf of NDTV.
NDTV will hold a meeting about what they can do about the edited video that they have uploaded.
In the future, if there are any news on social media platforms concerning His Holiness, no junior journalist from NDTV is allowed to publish it without her approval.
NDTV will welcome an article explaining the Tibetan's perspective and publish it and also upload a correction video.
I'm so angry for Tenzin right now. Imagine being an immigrant student, whose parents struggled to adjust to life in Belgium, only to find that their very daughter is being traumatized by insensitive, racist teachers who have no business teaching children. https://t.co/bbO1iBnQRM
"His Holiness brings forward an ethical approach for climate-change solutions. Secular ethics".

As a child and adolescent clinical psychologist with over 40 years of experience and having treated victims of child abuse I can definitively state that what occurred between the Dalai Lama and this child was an innocent act of playfulness with no harm resulting from the interaction whatsoever. That the Dalai Lama is sensitive to others’ perception of his actions and has issued an apology is a testament of his humbleness and compassion for everyone.
