@wullagaru@SteelCitySteph Legends dried up around the time I cracked my first Revised, and then came The Dark and .... wow, that was a step down from Legends.
@Fenrirs_Chosen PreDH is gaining ground in places, and choosing a format restriction by knowing what your play group thinks is fun matters for session zeroing in Commander as much as it does in any other social contract: negotiate. Do you want 10s or 4s to be the "norm" in your local group?
@DataMiller ... I don't think that "con artists and founders tend to need the same skills" was what I had in mind, but it's definitely a valid point if I'm reading you.
@brickk Looking at the cost of SMS that was claimed as "fraud", I would've just yeeted SMS MFA out of the platform entirely, get real basic security instead of the horror show. So my principle is "don't offer bad security and call it security", and the outrage is where I call bullshit.
@Fenrirs_Chosen Hrm. @KamiAnya1 do you have any thoughts in this space? (I'm assuming you're looking for commander-capable capacity, too, @Fenrirs_Chosen)
@BrianMBauman@Ezekieru Owning "payment processing", "forum development", "storefront development" and "orgplay support" all within the technology team's budget relative to the "create books" budget has been too small over time... is this trending to change with new leadership?
@amxrachijohnson Structure better depending on the audience: utility repo that may never leave my hands or my team, less structure, lighter README, etc. The farther from direct non-repo-content communication with a consumer, the more structure rigor is needed.
