Mental health is the greatest healthcare challenge of our time.

More than one billion people worldwide are currently living with at least one mental health condition - depression, anxiety, addiction, PTSD, and many others.

But behind this staggering statistic lie more than one billion human stories.

Families are being torn apart as loved ones struggle with addiction. The opioid crisis continues to hold the United States in its grip, leaving devastation in its wake.

The veterans - those who built, served, and defended this country - are among the most deeply affected. We owe them far better than what our current system provides.

And today’s young people are facing unprecedented pressures - from social media addiction to unrealistic body standards and the psychological strains of a digital world that never switches off. They are reporting record levels of stress, anxiety, and despair.

I could go on. The list is long, and the urgency is real.

We must do better. We must expand access to effective treatments, embrace innovation, and challenge the status quo in mental healthcare. Too many lives depend on it.

This is why I am genuinely inspired by the MAHA movement under the leadership of @SecKennedy, who is confronting these issues with the seriousness and courage they demand.

I was proud to present the mission and work of @ataibeckley at yesterday’s inaugural MAHA Summit.

The energy, commitment, and determination in that room gave me real hope.

BREAKING: AbbVie’s 10-Q discloses a ~$900M upfront payment related to its acquisition of bretisilocin (GM-2505) from Gilgamesh Pharmaceuticals.

Total deal value is up to ~$1.2B including milestones (as was already disclosed in a PR from AbbVie)

Gilgamesh’s non-GM-2505 programs were spun out into Gilgamesh Pharma Inc.

$ATAI has been awarded a multi-year, milestone-driven grant worth up to $11.4 million by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The grant will fund the optimization and early-stage development of atai’s novel 5-HT2A/2C receptor agonists with non-hallucinogenic potential for opioid use disorder (OUD).

Every video I have seen of @charliekirk11 shows an impressive young man who believed in God and in the uplifting message of Christianity.

Even when he disagreed with those he debated, he remained polite, respectful, and genuinely tried to understand the other side.

He went to the places where America’s future is shaped - schools, universities, campuses - sat down on a simple stage, and said one of the most important sentences any leader can say: “I want to talk with you.” With that simple message, like many great figures before him, he created a growing wave of supporters and changed the world.

It is deeply shameful that so many on the other political side - including in Germany, and also within professional media - have chosen to celebrate or cynically comment on his death. In doing so, they reveal that they have long since lost their souls, becoming exactly what they publicly claim to despise.

RIP Charlie Kirk ✝️ At least we can be sure you are with God now.
