@JohnnyAGI@neon_darlin I'd also be really careful about the "no matter who" part. That's how we got Fetterman and several others. Vote blue, yes, but vet carefully and thoroughly
@JohnnyAGI@neon_darlin I don't think I'd even vote for her in the primaries, but that depends on who else is in the running. In any case, I'm not that bothered about her age, but I think she's a bit too partisan and too much of a firebrand. Even if she won and had a D majority, she'd lose that in 2030.
@RossKneeDeep I think the original plan was: Biden/Harris re-elected, Biden resigns for health reasons just past the halfway point of his second term, Harris takes over with two years to prove herself (which she would) and then be re-elected for two terms of her own. Oh, what might have been.
@TimInHonolulu Nah, won't happen. In every election, voters say "All of Congress is corrupt and needs to be voted out! (except *my* guys, so they can stay) Given that happens in 50 out of 50 states, the Senate isn't likely to change much.
@gavinnewsom@CAgovernor, Californians overwhelmingly prefer regulating and taxing, not banning, online social games with sweepstakes. I’m asking you to veto AB831 to protect my choice to play the safe, fun, free-to-play games I love. #StopAB831#AB831
@gavinnewsom: Online social games are safe, fun and free to play AND they’re a $1B CA industry. Focus on inflation, the high cost of living, healthcare, and other important issues, not taking away our right to choose our own entertainment. #StopAB831#AB831
@gavinnewsom@GavinNewsom, AB831 would eliminate $1B in economic impact & hundreds of millions in new revenue. Californians support regulating, not banning, online social games. Support California digital innovation and our state’s economy—veto AB 831. #StopAB831#AB831
