Introducing Claude Opus 4.7, our most capable Opus model yet.
It handles long-running tasks with more rigor, follows instructions more precisely, and verifies its own outputs before reporting back.
You can hand off your hardest work with less supervision.
Having an experience is real.
Correctly identifying what caused it is a separate question.
You keep treating contact with experience as proof of interpretation. You’re using the word “real” in different senses as if it means the same thing all the way through.
That’s equivocation.
@juleighmarie@theralkia My reality is my experience. Yours is yours. But if we’re calling something universally real, it probably needs to exist outside both of us.
@juleighmarie@theralkia A definition proves a concept exists in thought or language. It does not prove the thing exists in reality. “Unicorn” and “square-circle” are definable. That doesn’t make one standing in my yard or real.
