This is laughable. “The SSPX is not in schism; they just commit schismatic acts.”
Are they in union with the Pope? Kind of.
Are they obedient to the Pope? Sometimes.
Does the Pope regard them as united to the Holy See? Eh…
What does “irregular standing” mean? Who knows.
The SSPX politely tells the Pope that he speaks heresies, but that he is not a heretic.
So the Vatican responds in kind by telling them that they commit schismatic acts, but are not schismatic.
Would that the SSPX Bishops and clergy stopped doing what all the Bishops did after Vatican II: play pretend and hide their heads under the sand, and instead did what their vocation calls them to do, tell fearlessly the truth.
@LukeDashjr@MibshaD However, the use of methotrexate or procedures that directly remove the embryo from the tube (such as salpingostomy) are not justifiable.
@LukeDashjr@MibshaD The death of the child is not willed and would be avoided if at all possible—if, for example, re-implantation in the womb were reasonably possible.
This is a very interesting interview and I encourage all who have "heard vague rumblings" about some bishop "proposing a conclave" (he isn't), to listen directly from his lips to what he is suggesting and encouraging our clergy to begin discussing.

This explanation seems counter to Mystici Corporis:
"Actually only those are to be included as members of the Church who have been baptized and profess the true faith, and who have not been so unfortunate as to separate themselves from the unity of the Body, or been excluded by legitimate authority for grave faults committed." (MC 22)
For not every sin, however grave it may be, is such as of its own nature to sever a man from the Body of the Church, as does schism or heresy or apostasy. (MC 23)
MC 22 plainly asserts that one may *separate himself* from the Body of the Church. The following article, MC 23, tells us *how* this may happen.
It seems to me that if a formal juridical judgement is absolutely necessary, then surely Pius XII would have addressed as much.
You get an indulgence for praying a THIRD of the Rosary. Praying a third of 4 parts is impossible. (When you try dividing 200 beads by 3, you get 66.6.) The Koran Kisser's Luminous are not part of the Rosary.
@Pontifex The synodal church does not have the truth, but the Catholic Church - the one without a pope at the present time - possesses the truth and teaches it to all nations. And all those who abjure their errors and embrace the true Faith and keep the Commandments of God are welcome!
And His Majesty brought his concubine along to boot! Leo doesn't have much of an argument anymore, now that Amoris Laetitia is part of the Novus Ordo magisterium. Perhaps Leo will just retroactively grant King Henry VIII an annulment (or however many he needed) and they will declare full communion?
