A mysterious object resembling a giant bird with outstretched wings has once again been spotted in images of the Sun, according to a report from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences on February 3, 2026.The image was captured on February 2, 2026, using the LASCO coronagraph aboard the SOHO spacecraft. It shows a striking plasma structure of enormous scale — its apparent "wingspan" vastly exceeds the diameter of Earth multiple times over.A similar phenomenon was previously recorded in May 2025, when an unusual feature resembling a bird (or even a spacecraft with a fiery trail) appeared in LASCO imagery and sparked widespread discussion. Scientists noted at the time that such sharply defined and expressive plasma formations in the solar corona are extremely rare."There is still an opinion that this could be a galactic particle," the laboratory's official statement remarked, leaving room for intrigue and lighthearted speculation in scientific https://t.co/NRLgboNCLL reality, these shapes are typically complex manifestations of solar activity: prominences, coronal mass ejections, or intricate magnetic field configurations that briefly align into such dramatic silhouettes. Optical artifacts or cosmic ray traces are also possible, though the symmetry and clarity here make it particularly eye-catching.Earlier, leading IKI RAS researcher Nathan Eismont explained how powerful solar flares and coronal mass ejections can affect human health on Earth — through geomagnetic storms, radio disruptions, and potential biological impacts. For now, the "Sun bird of 2026" remains a captivating cosmic enigma — and a vivid reminder of just how dynamic and unpredictable our star continues to be, even under constant high-tech surveillance.
Gravity Isn’t a Force (Einstein) : ✍️
Gravity isn’t a force-it's the curvature of spacetime caused by mass and energy, as described by Einstein’s General Relativity. Massive objects like planets bend spacetime, and other objects follow these curves, creating what we perceive as gravitational attraction.
Beautifully said. The "Pale Blue Dot" remains one of the most profound images in human history—a humbling reminder of our place in the cosmos.Captured on February 14, 1990, by NASA's Voyager 1 from about 6 billion kilometers (3.7 billion miles) away, Earth appears as a minuscule speck—less than a single pixel—suspended in a ray of scattered sunlight. This was part of Voyager's "Family Portrait" series, the last images taken before its cameras were powered down to conserve energy for the long journey into interstellar space. The idea came largely from Carl Sagan, who later reflected in his book Pale Blue Dot:"Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives... Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the universe, are challenged by this point of pale light."
In 2020, NASA released a remastered version using modern processing techniques, making our fragile world stand out even more https://t.co/GLnvaqR77R're spot on: it's not just a photo; it's a call to perspective, unity, and stewardship. In an era of division, this view from the edge of our solar system underscores that we all share this one irreplaceable home. Voyager 1, now over 25 billion kilometers away and still sending data, continues to embody that spirit of curiosity and exploration.Thank you for sharing this timeless reflection.
Google's Head of Search just revealed what's actually happening to organic traffic.
And it's not what most SEO experts are telling you.
Here's what Liz Reid said about the future (and how to prepare for it):
Liz Reid has been at Google for over 20 years and now oversees Search during its biggest transition ever.
The Wall Street Journal just interviewed her about AI, traffic, and the future of search.
Here's what every SEO needs to know from that conversation:
Wonder how Matt Cutts would feel about 2025 Google using a photo of a different Matt Cutts when showing him in an AI Overview list (in the context of Google/SEO) 😅

@MyntraSupport I'm tired with the lack of coordination between customer care and return pickup guys.
The product never had a loop tag. Pickup is denied every time inspite of assurances from customer care.

👀 I've been going through sites dropping in visibility during Google's August Spam Update and in most cases these are sites that:
* Had already been previously affected by previous Google Spam and Core Updates, and had been dropping since Google's June Core Update if not before... so their drops likely have to do with more than just the spam update effects.
* Many are informational focused sites in the Lyrics, Recipes and financial advice space, featuring ads and reviews.
* In quite a few cases, they're featuring pages created at scale, with non-unique, low quality content, including spammy comments.
This update has been certainly much harder to isolate to identify specific impact though.

Rishabh's falling paddle sweep is not accidental. It is intentional and extremely clever. Going down with the shot allows him to get under the ball and scoop it over leg slip with control.
Also noticed something interesting during Bashir’s spell. Shubman and Rishabh were speaking loudly in Hindi between deliveries. It wasn’t just casual talk. They were playing mind games with the bowler, trying to disrupt his rhythm. These minor details may not appear on the scoreboard, but they can have a significant impact on the game.
What's up with Google Ads? Just checked a bunch of mine in the SERPs, and they're all using the page title and Meta description from the page, and none of the headlines and descriptions I setup in the campaign!?
Another reason for ecommerce to invest in informational content: The important PAAs growth in product SERPs for the most important queries across most verticals featuring reviews, guides & UGC 👀
Google wants to highlight content that gives *real* experience and expertise insights to users, to support their customer journey... why leaving that to third-party publications if you, as the retailer have them? How do you want users to trust you at the end of their purchasing journey and buy from you if you haven't helped them through their buying process, starting with research?

.@semrush just released an insightful new AI Overviews study, sharing insights about the shift happening in search, among others 👇
🚀 AI Overviews are on the rise: 13.14% of all queries triggered AI Overviews in March 2025. That’s up from 6.49% in January 2025.
👀 Informational content is most likely to trigger AI Overviews: 88.1% of queries that trigger an AI Overview are informational.
💥 Science (+22.27%), Health (+20.33%), People & Society (+18.83%), and Law & Government (+15.18%) are the industries experiencing the largest share growth of AI Overviews—indicating a rapid shift in how users get answers in these high-trust, information-dense categories.
🤖 Zero-clicks: On average, keywords that trigger AI Overviews show higher zero-click behavior—likely due to their informational nature. But a same-keyword analysis shows zero-click rates actually declined slightly after AI Overviews were introduced.

@amazonIN my return order isn't picked and false status is getting updated 'delayed due to customer'. Customer service isn't of any help as they keep raising new return request. And if i talk to senior, investigation promise is made. Ultimately it's the customer who is suffering.
