Currently in a Yorkshire stray kennels and unclaimed.
Please note that because this dog – like all our dogs – needs to be fully assessed before being placed as part of someone’s family, we will NOT respond to any comments, emails or messages from individuals offering to adopt this dog before the deadline shown above. The way that individuals can help this dog right now is to share this post as much as possible and/or tag suitable rescues in this thread.
If you are member of the public looking to adopt a dog, please go to your local dog rescue and adopt a fully assessed dog who matches the home you have to offer. In turn, this will free up a space for a new pound dog to be saved.
I am not the one putting these dogs to sleep. THE KENNELS ARE NOT TO BLAME, they are full. Blame the people who allow their dogs to stray and then never collect them - throwing them away like rubbish. Blame the breeders still pumping out puppies, when there are so many dogs dying. But don’t blame us! And please don’t blame us for doing our very best for both dogs and families by ONLY placing fully assessed dogs into private homes.

Bob's owner has passed away and he is stressed in the kennels.
Jack Russell Terrier, Old Bob has sadly come back into the centre after being out for 7 years, after his owner sadly passed away. Bob is very stressed, his bond with his owner was like no other as his owner was his world and visa versa. Bob is an older chap now but is still as characterful as ever! He has always loved to play ball and this has not changed, just slowed down a bit due to his legs starting to wobble, but he will still trot after a ball all day. Bob needs a loving retirement who can take him on new and exciting walks but with an owner who understands that it will take time for Bob to settle in with a new family. Bob wants to be the only pet in his home so he can be the sole focus. Bob is sadly not coping in kennels so if you are interested please do come down to meet his cheeky chap.- Last Chance Rescue, Kent
