@Thumper1982 Good morning. Sorry, I don't check twitter much at the weekends. I think we are back to regular uniform although learners will not have to keep blazers on all the time.
@Morsecat @whichoneispink@SchoolsWeek One thing is clear - it is my number one priority to get all our children in school. I am grateful to Essex local authority for recognising this too. I do hope others feel that same way too.
@Morsecat @whichoneispink@SchoolsWeek Thanks @morsecat you know my letters are always written to & for my parents & our community and are shared publicly. They are never designed to be quoted as representing official government policy or for national consumption for that matter.

@SchoolsWeek Good news and reassuring. In my mind the subjective term 'reasonable' includes anything that is needed to continue to deliver the same quality of curriculum and learning experience. Surely if the approach is equitable it will lead to inconsistencies but I am ok with that.
"What we've got today is headteachers scrambling around trying to identify concrete that might look like Aero bars when they should be focusing on children's learning": my comments on behalf of @ASCL_UK on the growing 'national scandal' of RAAC: https://t.co/c8FgjvBwoc
Education Secretary Gillian Keegan isn't worried about asbestos in schools, but are schools?
Headteacher James Saunders tells us he's worried, and that he expects to find asbestos when construction work begins on impacted buildings at his school

'I don't think I'm someone who has been sitting around doing nothing.'
Headteacher at Honywood School, James Saunders, has reacted to Gillian Keegan saying others 'have been sat on their a***s' off camera in an interview about the school concrete crisis.
