Vaccinated & Sterilized dogs keep unfamiliar dogs, rodents, monkeys and other wild animals away from societies, thereby keeping human-animal conflict to a minimum, rabies incidents to a minimum and the entry of thieves and robbers to a minimum.

There are several instances where women have reported being saved by street dogs when they have been accosted, stalked or eve-teased by men.
