@South_Gradient For Haiti, I would say it has been more than two centuries. Remember the US supported french slave owners in Saint Domingue during the successful Haitian revolution.
The US embargoed Haiti in 1806 and most of the western world (US, France, Spain, Britain) sanctioned Haiti.
