Pained at how India's aviation future in the incompetent hands of @airindia with the recent merger. Had booked (on Oct 1) a BLR-DELHI flight for Nov 18/8:35a/AI519.
On Nov 15 I had to reschedule this flight to Nov 17/9:10p /AI2814 which was cancelled today morning at 7:42AM.
@airindia Not only that, they have now launched a Nov17/9p/AI808 at an atrocious fare of ~38k. This is racketeering by @airindia .
@DGCAIndia please note @airindia is profiteering from the surge in demand for late night flights due to the fog disruption with morning flights.
@airindia w/o my consent put me on Nov18/5:45a flight which was not suitable for my schedule. When asked for a full refund - refused to refund premium eco upgrade & rescheduling charges saying only original booking amount would be refunded this pocketing a nice sum of ~6k.
