Marcia Lucas, who won an Oscar for editing “Star Wars,” directed by her former husband George Lucas, has died from cancer. She was 80.

“Marcia will be remembered as a brilliant storyteller, a trailblazer for women in film, a loving mother and grandmother, a generous host, and a loyal friend whose humor and sparkle filled every room she entered. ESB is such a strange film because the more time passes since your last viewing, the stronger the feeling that your perception of it is clouded by nostalgia and that you might've overhyped it. Then you rewatch it, and the film turns out to be even better than you remembered
