Is there some issue going down with @Uber_RSA in Joburg? Really long time to get rides confirmed or even accepted. Have switched to using @Boltapp_za … but also noticed sharp increase in Bolt pricing since Uber are experiencing issues. What’s the story?

@Uber_Support Your driver was excellent so I am safe. He reacted quickly and no harm done. That said it’s clear that there is problem there and Uber really create a secure location for pick ups. The Gautrain security guard watched on and did nothing.

I was just attacked by other taxi drivers getting into @Uber_RSA outside the @TheGautrain Hatfield. Kudos to my driver who reacted quickly & I’m OK. Clearly Uber knows there’s a problem as the app directs riders to get picked up away from the station.
