@Pauliina_Mejia If you watched the games it was a failure. We were Copa America finalists 2 years ago and stronger than almost anyone else in SA. Switzerland let a goal from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Canada, & Quatar. For Colombia to not score and win was a failure considering how strong we looked.

@RyanGigous @ziplamak Red card offenses can have var intervene. It’s normal and has happened before. If it was only a yellow card offense then var cannot step in. This was a potential red card, which could vastly alter the game, and we’ve seen var step in for this in this world cup already.

@theMadridZone VAR won’t intervene unless it’s a possible red card. This wasn’t so there’s nothing that can be done if the referee didn’t give the yellow in the first place
