Dang guys,
Have y’all ever heard us reference being quiet?? I know you have. Quiet is smooth and on time. Quiet doesn’t mean that controlled chaos can’t be unleashed, quiet means controlled and purposeful. Intentional in your approach at the plate. So, don’t be so loud pre-firing!!
Wow. No words.
So brave of Jarren Duran to open up about his mental health and suicide attempt in 2022.
Duran said he’d be standing in the outfield at Fenway and people were screaming at him to “Go back to AAA”. All the while thinking he wanted to take his own life.
Why choose hatred when you can choose to be kind. Protect your mental health and do your part to help others that just might be going through something you can’t see.
Want to steal more bases?
STOP using the crossover step & START using a drop step!
The crossover step is slower, it starts the athlete in a horrible position for acceleration, and takes away from the athletes natural athleticism.
Baseball and softball season is short but intense. You’ll play a lot of games in a limited duration of time. Doubleheaders and reschedules can make some weeks taxing.
Ball players,
Make sure you get plenty of lean protein, healthy carbs, sufficient fruits/veggies and fluids. Your body requires rest and recovery.
A sample program with meals and snacks to help you perform your best!
Instead of working on hitting Cage Bombs and turning around after every swing to see how (Fake) far you hit it start working on hitting down through the ball and driving the ball to the opposite field. I know the #gurus love to brag about how far the players they work with are hitting the ball in the cage to promote themselves. Juan Soto is really good and this is what he’s working on. Good luck! #shegone @notgaetti@BobFile@twuench@billdubs@SliderDominate@ROXSystem @BLocsports @JayGibbons15@RealCJ10@TheRealJHair@DMEASrecruiting@SalMarinello@RVGDag
‼️ GRAPHIC CONTENT ‼️
I couldn’t find the video anywhere else so here it is
Tucker Timmerman from @HuskerBaseball taking a 104mph comebacker off the nose against @VandyBoys
Thankfully he was able to get up under his own power and proceeds to fire up the crowd with blood visibly pouring out and bruising already forming
#Huskers were still able to record the out off the ricochet
@11point7
•6:30 am leave
•8 hours on the road
•Lose two games you played well enough to win
•Midnight tarp pull
This where you find out if you really love it

Best hitter on the planet going high tee with level shoulders and almost flat path? You bet. High tee drill forces hitter to take hands straight to ball ✅
Too many fly out “almost a bomb” can of corn hitting coaches who never leave their cage to watch their clients fly out in BP and games. These “gurus” are teaching young kids to swing with a loopy path, parents should know this.
Players who learn how to back spin line drive balls in gaps consistently in HS have better chance of making it beyond.
Hitters
Refuse to strikeout.
Spread out, choke up, take the plate away, grit your teeth and compete.
It's a competition.
It's you vs the man on the mound.
It's personal.
One day, the games will end.
- No more bus rides.
- No more practices.
- No more game days.
But the memories will stay forever:
- The teammates.
- The laughter.
- The moments that made it all worth it.
Cherish every second.
A lot of my followers don’t have access to PitchCom like they do at the higher levels. Amateur catchers need to understand how to properly give signs.
Here is a simple graphic showing some of the keys to the sign giving stance.

Players: There's never been an easier time to be an absolute dirtbag in the game than right now.
Here are a few ways to stand out amongst the crowd that every player can do:
▪️Sprint on & off the field. 1st one on, 1st one off
▪️Run your best home to 1st time on every ball you hit
▪️Throw the ball with purpose when taking gbs in between innings
▪️Show your best pop times in between innings
▪️Stay up when you fail. Studs don't doubt
▪️Show up early & leave late
▪️Wear your uniform properly. Jersey always tucked in. Belt on. Hat on straight. The way the uni fits you matters.
▪️Win & lose with class. No poor sports & no shoving it into the opponents face when you win.
▪️Shake the umpire hands before & after the game & thank them for calling the game
▪️Be a great teammate. A selfless one. Pick others up when they're down.
▪️Be a leader regardless of how your day is going. It's easy to lead when things are going your way. Lead when it's your hardest day & you'll gain respect from everyone.
Talent will get you in the door, but the intangibles will keep you there! 👊🏻
