It's hard to characterize how significant we anticipate this partnership to be. To put it simply, the reactor makes heat and outside of that, we plan to be working with the global experts to turn that heat into useful energy products reliably. This is also one of many key supply chain aspects we expect to enable deployment at scale. California hasn’t built a new UC school in over 2 decades, while the student population has grown massively, leading to lower and lower acceptance rates for California’s students.

Here’s an idea for vacant downtown offices: Buy a cluster of them in DTLA, Sacramento, or SF, and swiftly open up a new UC system without a single CEQA battle. Converting offices to classroom is easy and cheap.

If NYU can make vertical campuses in the City work, so can we.
