@RyszardJonski Umm I don't think he meant it that way. Sides would best touch lvl 4 if they want to do anything with it.
Even in the recent pics with supposed new armour, you can see that the nose/glacis panels are thicker than before but sides are pretty much the same.
Not saying that this is 100% confirmed, but these new plates look substantially thicker (maybe <80mm). They're also clearly stacked; notice how the first plates on the LFP appear thicker than those on the UFP. Also first time I am seeing the fuel port armour installed.
DMRL is working on 25 mm FSAPDS (STANAG level 5 "B") and 30 mm FSAPDS (STANAG level 6) protection for the Zorawar Light Tank. Current protection is level 4 front and level 2 rest.
First time seeing such quality footage of the Pinaka in operation. I know this is the bare minimum, but really telling about Indian Army's (or India as whole) lackluster PR.
@KarthikSrikant9 I don't know the chronology. Could just be recounting what already exists and being worked on.
Yes I have also heard something similar. IIRC, there was also something on a titanium alloy cradle.
