If you want this fight, @RepJamesComer, let’s have it—in public.
You love to talk about transparency. There’s nothing more transparent than a public hearing, cameras on.
We will be there.
I have called for the full release of the Epstein files. I have provided a sworn statement of what I know. And just this week, I’ve agreed to appear in person before the committee. But it’s still not enough for Republicans on the House Oversight Committee.

And as Carl Jung said, no matter how isolated you are and how lonely you feel, if you do your work truly and conscientiously, unknown friends will come and seek you.
The BS Asymmetry Principle: The energy required to refute bullshit is much larger than the energy required to produce it. This is why BS spreads so easily, especially online. It's also why we need to make a deliberate effort to fight back against it.

There is sadness at the passing of #SouthAfrica’s Ashwin Trikamjee. A friend of the IBA, he held many officer roles - Advisory Board Member, Chair and Vice-Chair of the African Regional Forum, South Africa Deputy Secretary-General and member of the IBA’s Human Rights Institute.
The passing of Mr Ashwin Trikamjee, President of the South African Hindu Maha Sabha and Chairperson of the National Religious Leaders Forum, deeply saddens me.
I offer my condolences to the family, friends and associates of this outstanding icon of service to our nation who has passed on at the age of 80.
He was an attorney who served as president of the then Natal Law Society, president of the Association of Law Societies of SA, chairperson of the African Regional Forum of the International Bar Association and member of the Human Rights Committee of the IBA.
As a Black Consciousness activist, he also led the Durban Central component of the Natal Indian Congress, and he was a vice-president of the South African Football Association.
Ashwin’s deep spiritual devotion extended beyond his Hindu affiliation as he advocated tolerance and collaboration among the diverse religious communities in our country.
We will miss his gentle, serene presence, wise counsel and humble yet industrious service to many sectors of our nation.
May his soul rest in peace.
[WATCH] Friends and family have described the late Hindu leader and lawyer Ashwin Trikamjee as a selfless individual with a deep passion for human rights. Trikamjee was laid to rest yesterday in Durban. He died from cancer on Thursday in a Johannesburg hospital at the age of 80.
Ashwin Trikamjee's daughter, Dr Thulja Trikamjee, reflects on the life and times of the late South African human rights advocate and religious leader. He died earlier today aged 80 after suffering from cancer.
