@doug_in_nc@nickimoraa Yep. I was thinking about our quiet intern. She's great and asks good questions to do her job, but socially very reserved. Still, we invite her to have lunch together and she shows up. Tbf covid set back a lot of social skills and not everyone catches up/rebounds at the same rate
@Hopeleslie1234 Looks great!
I'm thinking about my mom in this and her hair has thinned out a lot. I'm not sure if she could do a ponytail as well as before even if she did grow out her hair.
@underbrightwing@luinalaska I'm similar! I don't visualize but tend to have some sort of conceptual mind web. If you only tell me apple, my brain is actively waiting for the context of the apple: shopping list? gravity? pie? wordle bc it's 5 letters? Or just you telling me 'apple'?
@PotluckLauren@UpTambourine@luinalaska I don't visualize automatically. I can do it and pull up pictures in my mind, but it takes extra effort.
If I'm paying attention, I have great memory. My brain loves to build connections and decipher patterns so I tend to take in and recall webs of info.
@SaraForTexLege Women aren't lonely because we socialize better than men. Women are often responsible for many of the social fabric of families and communities. Even without a family, women tend to be involved in a community or multiple.
@honeyNonABG I think it's because you provide a lot more commentary on relationships and gender without divulging current personal stories. (It might be a neurospicy trait to have such implied boundaries associated within the context of X.)
@emilykmay Thoughts on men with baggage?
Tbh by our 30s everyone has some sort of baggage. The baggage itself differs, but hopefully by then some unpacking work is done, and made some progress on figuring out how to repack it in a way that better suits you.
@PstafarianPrice There are actual matchmakers that might be able to help her. Idk rates but it sounds like money isn't an issue and she has a pretty full life and schedule, so mm allows her to outsource a lot of networking and screening in an active dating market.
@natgrace79 I'm really sorry you have family members that treat you this way.
I'm incredibly grateful I was able to read your thread earlier today. I'm humbled by your will to seek God and to surrender however He guides you. May the Spirit be ever present with you in this season and always.
@arbyredopinion@TheEcho13 I was thinking of the better case scenario where I'm assuming it's a good, decent man who wouldn't take advantage and the woman initiates, it ends up being 9/10 times the good man won't notice.
Flipped around, women tend to notice all the little good things.
