Responses to this have mostly been either "shut up lefty this is a great idea" or people who are so far removed from political reality that they can't accept that some R's might agree with statements they find reasonable. I've enjoyed them all.

@watn_tarnation I'd be happy to. 1) Moderate R's love economic growth, but also want a safety net - "robust" can be debated. 2) All Rs dislike crime and violent protests. 3) If you don't reject climate change (which moderate R's rarely do) this is clearly the conservative response. I can go on.

The core cursed dynamic of 2024 is that Biden’s age wouldn’t be as big of a problem if his VP were popular, but if his VP were popular there’d be tremendous pressure on him to step aside so in a perverse way he benefits from a poor selection.
