I oppose the repurposing and any discretionary use of the remaining DAO curator funds.
I formally resigned from the curator role and have since been removed from the multisig.
In 2016, I joined the DAO Curator multisig on behalf of Kraken to help people affected by DAO edge cases to recover their funds (https://t.co/5UgNLpmK2W).
Now, in 2026, there is about $250mm left that has not yet been claimed.
These are funds that belong to the original DAO investors. I see this as a violation of the original mandate and fiduciary duties. This move comes with tremendous legal risk and introduces a plethora of conflicts of interest.
This @ecb essay is quite a lot of words to say what bitcoiners said all along: Everyone pays the price he deserves for Bitcoin, otherwise have fun staying poor.
MP @f_schaeffler organized a crypto tax roundtable yesterday in the German Parliament.
Good news: Staking/lending of crypto-assets will no longer extend the (usually 1 year) holding period for tax free selling to 10 years in 🇩🇪.
Thanks @f_schaeffler for your work & the invite!

A QA engineer walks into a bar. Orders a beer. Orders 0 beers. Orders 99999999999 beers. Orders a lizard. Orders -1 beers. Orders a ueicbksjdhd.
First real customer walks in and asks where the bathroom is. The bar bursts into flames, killing everyone.

Somebody has to say what everybody's actually thinking about the NYAG's inquiry. The placative kowtowing toward this kind of abuse sends the message that it's ok. It's not ok. It's insulting. https://t.co/sta9VuXPK1
