I'm predicting this now: Harris has a likability problem. You see this in the staff turnover, in the fact that her advancement has mainly been through selections rather than elections, and in her awkwardness as soon as there's no script to follow. California is a one-party state dominated by machine politics. Advancement tests intra-party knife-fighting skills, not popularity with the people.

Awesome results in a paper by our @Meta colleagues at CTRL-Labs working on neuromotor interfaces.
In the future, interacting with wearable devices (e.g. smart glasses) may be done through EMG bracelets like the one shown in this video: one can point, click, use gestures, write by hand, even type, with hands in the pocket.
The breakthrough with this work is that the system is user independent: no need for retraining for each session or each user (though a quick adaptation phase for new users helps).

I think a lot of folks on this website don't appreciate the level of sacrifice that many folks endured to pay off or not take on student debt. And now to be asked to pay off other folks loans, including folks who are quite prosperous (or will be soon)?
