This is the last war of Russia. Carthago delenda est. Thank you everyone who came to the Kyiv Road in London tonight to stand with Ukraine. @ukraine_hub 💙💛
@CindyJane4@lindasfree@Angry_Staffer And this follows the previous wave in 1944 when 80,000 homes were confiscated by soviet authorities from Crimean Tatars…all given to Russians
@lindasfree@Angry_Staffer Ukrainians and tatars had to leave their homes if they were loyal to Ukraine. There were many who supported Russia and they stayed …those who supported Russia were also children of those who occupied the homes of tatars who were deported in 1944-45. 80,000 homes were confiscated
When I am being asked what I want from NATO leaders, it is this: I want them to remember about this child sitting next to his dead parents on the cold street of Mariupol.
And many others, who were not picked up by strangers and who are still sitting next to their killed parents.
A woman from Mariupol came to Hungary with 4 kids.
Her own.
Her sister’s kid (mother went to find water and disappeared).
Child of her killed neighbors.
She was running for an evacuation bus and saw a kid, sitting on the street next to his dead parents. She took him too.
❗️Today, David Beckham, the world famous football player, handled over his social media channels to Iryna, the Head of the Regional Perinatal Center in Kharkiv, Ukraine, where she is helping mothers give birth under constant shellings from the Russian occupational army.

As part of de-Putinization, Europe urgently needs to de-Russify its economies, especially the energy sector. The EU should ASAP set firm target dates for cutting off Russian energy supplies altogether. Enough equivocating. #StandWithUkraine
One of the first Russian soldiers captured in Ukraine said this:
"I didn't want (to go fight in Ukraine) but that was the order. I didn't have a choice. If I refused, I could have been put in prison for up to 15 years."
That sounds like a choice to me.
Let me introduce here some of the people who worked for the future of #Mariupol. We met them in winter 2019. Mariupol had plenty of ambitious projects and so many citizens were working for a sustainable development of society, economy and industry.
Mariupol is now a ghost city – 80% of its infrastructure is damaged or destroyed, 40% of which cannot be rebuilt, authorities say. One of the largest in the country, a beautiful, developed city razed to the ground.
Guess what these parakeets are doing...they are stripping this tree of all its needles. Don’t think it will make it into 2022. I wonder if any agency is doing anything to control the population
