@IceDogsReport I gotta be honest, I think Peterborough is in rebuild. They could’ve been contenders this year but acquiring Walton was a huge mistake and ruined that potential. . They don’t have enough picks of value to trade and buy. Plus Rye is gone. I think Pete’s are in rebuilding mode.

@SteveClarkMedia Something they said on Dogpound podcast when he first got fired was he wasn’t serious enough. As in there was no doubt he was a nice guy but sometimes took things too lightly with how the team was playing. Which I see do see their point. But I believe in 2nd chances too.

@mattewhy We’re not contending this year, this is likely Czata’s last year. This is a win for both teams. Czata gets to spend his last OHL season on memorial cup contending team, we get 2 young guns and picks back. We didn’t have a 2026 3rd or 5th till now. Tough, but good trade.

@archjrinsider No shock at all there was no suspension. The consistency of what the league does and doesn’t consider suspension worthy for players has been nonexistent and quite frankly, embarrassing at this point.
