@RudyHavenstein@Barchart tried to login to @Fidelity and get the error "service is experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later." Funny how that happens on down days and never seems to happen when the market is ripping higher...
Late ‘87 started with cfront on an NCR Unix box. In ‘88, moved over to DOS and used Glockenspiel for the preprocessing and ran it through the Microsoft C compiler. Bugs galore and really tough time getting an exe built. @WalterBright came to the rescue with the first native C++ compiler from Zortech. Those were the days. And Bob, loved the C++ Report, was invaluable at the time.

Ken also ported a subset of Unix that ran on top of DOS, called it The Thompson Toolkit. Funny story, I was building a DOS-based scs that ran on top of Ken’s port. Had a question about it, found a phone number for Ken, called it and ended up having a nice conversation with his wife. Did get the question answered too!
@SemiAnalysis_ We almost missed our flight out of SYR on the day the deal was announced as all the top politicians flew in for the announcement and dog and pony show. President Biden, Senators Schumer and Gillibrand, Gov Hochul, they all wanted to get in on it that day. That was October 2022
